The Danube Tourism Commission will take part in the new actb—austrian and central european travel business—which replaces the atb (austrian travel business). The new event will include a number of countries from the region: the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Slovenia.
 
The integration of the Danube Tourism Commission as a distinct player in the actb is in the tradition of the Danube Travel Mart and gives exhibitors from Commission members Austria, Hungary and Slovakia an additional opportunity to present their products, including at Danube stands. It also allows our other members—Croatia, Germany, Romania and Serbia—the possibility of taking part in the actb under the blue “Danube Wave”.
 
Exhibitors can again both register and set up appointments with partners online.
 
The registration fee for exhibitors of EUR 3,400 plus VAT, which includes stand rental (7.5 sq.m.) for up to four firms or persons, catering during the fair, attendance at the gala opening evening at the Vienna Rathaus, and admission to hospitality suites.
 
Some 900 professional buyers and media representatives from 61 countries attended the atb/Danube Travel Mart in 2006. With its expanded offer, the actb is expected to attract over 1,000 highly qualified buyers from the most important incoming markets around the world.
 
Invitations to buyers and the press will be made by representatives of the Austrian National Tourist Office in the markets.
