SN Brussels Airlines starts winter season with five new destinations

Brussels, 31 October 2005 - Compared to last year, SN Brussels Airlines offers this winter five new destinations. Toronto, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Glasgow and Aarhus figure for the first time in SN's winter timetable.

Whilst the meteorological winter season is still far away, the aviation industry starts its winter season already now. SN offers this winter season no less than 5 new direct services. In total, SN passengers can now travel to 55 European and 20 direct intercontinental services.

Monday 31st October, SN celebrates the launch of the new non-stop service between Brussels and Toronto (Canada). On Tuesday 1st November, the very first flight between Brussels and Abu Dhabi (Emirates) will take off. Both new routes are operated by SN's partner Etihad Airways. Etihad guarantees an excellent inflight service. The Brussels - Abu Dhabi route is the only direct connection between the European capital and the booming Gulf Region. Thanks to a comfortable coach connection in Abu Dhabi, Dubai can also easily be reached from Brussels. The schedule of the Toronto and Abu Dhabi flights enable SN clients to travel onwards to and from many European and African SN destinations.

Also Glasgow, the heart of Scotland, figures for the first time in the SN Brussels Airlines winter timetable. Glasgow is not only a well-known business centre, the city has also excellent features for a city trip.

SN continues its goal of connecting the European capital by offering as from this winter own direct services to Sofia in the EU candidate member country Bulgaria.

That not only capitals are connected by SN but also major dynamic regions, is proven once more by the new flight offer to Aarhus in Jutland (Denmark). These flights are offered in cooperation with partner British Airways / SunAir Scandinavia.

SN also has good news for the many clients on the popular Brussels - Tel Aviv route. Thanks to a new partnership with El Al, all seats offered between Belgium and Israel are now jointly commercialized by SN Brussels Airlines and El Al resulting in much more travel flexibility.

Frequencies to Moscow Domodedovo airport and to London Gatwick and Prague have been increased due to high demand.

Finally, SN puts this winter season its Turin service in the spotlight. The North Italian city will host the Olympic winter games in 2006. Additional flight frequencies are scheduled during the Games.

Thanks to the flight frequencies of SN several travel formulas are possible. Passengers can easily book daytrips, mini trips, midweek trips, weekend trips and city trips.
