N. MENU, General Manager, Continental Europe

Brussels, May 8th, 2007: Jet Airways, India's premier private airline, today announced the appointment of Emmanuel N. MENU as General Manager, Continental Europe. Emmanuel replaces Abraham Joseph who is relocating to Toronto to lead the airline's expansion into Canada.

In his role as General Manager, Emmanuel will be responsible for developing the business plan in the newly announced Jet Airways European Hub in Brussels and will have overall responsibility for sales & marketing and operational activities across Continental Europe. He will also manage the passenger and cargo sales teams, as well as the airport services teams.

With more than 16 years experience in the airline industry, Emmanuel has held senior roles at Sabena, Swissair and lately at SN Brussels Airlines. His most recent role was General Manager for Jet Airways for UK & Ireland, where he developed the airline's operations up to 27 frequencies a week between India and London Heathrow.

Emmanuel N. MENU said: “I am delighted to take on this new challenge in Jet Airways, at a time, when the airline is creating its European Hub in Brussels and introducing its new B777 and A330 aircraft. We will start our operations on August 5, 2007 with daily non-stops flight from Brussels to Mumbai and Newark and we will launch later in the summer 5 times a week non-stop to Delhi and Toronto with the plan to extend it to daily flights as from the winter season. Jet Airways has revealed to the press last week its new services in First Class, Première Class and Economy, and I believe that this world class in-flight product will make the difference in European travellers' choice, when they fly to India, USA and Canada”.

Emmanuel has begun his role as General Manager with immediate effect and reports to Anita Goyal, Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing.
