The Medina Mediterranea Resort in Yasmine Hammamet was the last venue of the eleven ones used in the past by MITM in Europe and the Mediterranean Region. Because from 2008 on, MITM will be held in KoelnMesse, Cologne, Germany, in early June.

The Medina Mediterranea Resort hosted MITM in its brand new Conference and Exhibition Centre, where exhibitors from 11 nations met with Hosted Buyers from 16 countries. A total of 2.320 meetings between exhibitors and buyers were completed.

The social program was attended by buyers and exhibitors, and included a welcome reception, a working lunch, and a gala dinner with a Tunisian show.

After the trade market, buyers were invited to three different post-MITM fam tours, including to the Tunisian desert.

The traditional offer of post-MITM fam tours for Hosted Buyers will be kept in the future in Cologne as well, giving exhibitors the opportunity to invite the Hosted Buyers to visit any of the venues of exhibitors present in the show.
