Green light for the construction of Cruiser-Tres Carabelas Hotel

The Torremolinos City Council has given the green light for the development of the Cruiser-Tres Carabelas Hotel, by Arco Sur Proyectos Inmobiliarios S.L. The project is worth almost 120 million euros.

The Cruiser-Tres Carabelas will be a 5-star luxury hotel, built in two rectangular blocks facing Carlota Alessandri Avenue and Puerto Real Street and connected by a circular structure. On the whole, the hotel surface area will be 31,000 square metres, and the buildings will have 12, 13 and 15 floors, respectively.

The establishment will be endowed with all the facilities and amenities of luxury hotels, plus some exclusive ones, such a heliport. As such, then, it is bound to become an icon among local and Andalusian accommodation facilities. It will have 439 guestrooms and 594 parking spaces.

As stated in the development project, the Cruiser-Tres Carabelas will be spectacular in more than one sense: its wide range of quality services, its open spaces and gardens, its state-of-the-art facilities and equipment (including a spa), and many other aspects that will surely turn it into a tourist attraction in itself.

Moreover, the construction and management of the new hotel will require the creation of 220 direct jobs and as many indirect ones, and this makes the project one of the most important ones in the region. When the hotel starts operating (probably, in 2009), it will surely add value to the surrounding area and give a significant boost to the local economy.
