SN Airholding : Neil Burrows appointed Chief Executive Officer for one year

Time Trip At Tempelhof Airport
Individuals can now visit Tempelhof Airport in Berlin. There is plenty to discover both architecturally and historically in Europe's largest contiguous building complex. Tours take place at set dates and cost 10 Euro per person.
The ochre-coloured complex stretches monumentally in the southeast of the capital. It is one of the oldest airports in the world. Long corridors and historic tunnels run underneath the building.
The history of Tempelhof Field as a take-off and landing point for Berlin's air travel goes back into the 19th century. In 1909 the American Wright Brothers took off here in the first motor airplane. The airport became
known worldwide during the Allied airlift in 1948 and 1949 when thousands of tons of goods were flown in daily via Tempelhof to provide for the blockaded western sector of the city.

airBaltic will fly from Düsseldorf and Simferopol
The Latvian airline airBaltic will from Spring 2006 launch direct flights from Düsseldorf in Germany and Simferopol in Ukraina to Riga.
From Düsseldorf to Riga airBaltic will fly four times per week from 1 March with departures from Düsseldorf at 08.55 in the morning with arrival Riga at 12.05. Return flights from Riga at 06.55 with arrival Düsseldorf at 08.10. These flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. airBaltic already flies to Riga from the German cities of Munich, Berlin and Hamburg. The flights to Cologne will be discontinued.
Simferopol will become the 4th Ukrainian destination served by airBaltic. From 11 April there will be morning flights from Simferopol to Riga on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 09.25 with arrival Riga at 11.55. Return flights from Riga at 06.15 with arrival Simferopol at 08.45. airBaltic already operates flights to Riga from the Ukrainian cities of Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk and Kiev.
Riga becomes important West - East air hub
With an increasing number of direct flights to Ukrainian, Belarusan and Russian cities, Riga Airport emerges as an important hub between Northern Europe and Ukraine, Belarus and Russia.
Morning flights to Riga - in particular from Helsinki, Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, London and Berlin - are well connected with flights further on to Kiev, Odessa, Dnepropetrovska, Minsk and Moscow. And afternoon flights to Riga from Ukraine, Belarus and Russia are well connected with early evening flights to the above-mentioned Northern European cities. Certainly, a longer stop-over in Riga to feel and experience the city can also be recommended.
The airline airBaltic offers very friendly prices using Riga as a hub. JAL Group Applies for Revision of IATA International Fares to & from Japan
Tokyo, Wednesday December 21, 2005: Today, the JAL Group filed an application with the Japanese Ministry of Land Infrastructure, and Transport (MLIT) requesting a revision of IATA international airfares to and from Japan, based on agreements adopted at IATA Tariff Coordinating Conferences held during the year.
For fares from Japan, the main revision is an increase in the weekend airfare to North America, the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East, Hawaii, Micronesia, Southeast Asia and China. The revision will take effect from April 1, 2006 pending government approval in Japan and other relevant countries.
Sustained passenger growth on scheduled flights
Brussels Airport, 20 December 2005 -- In November 2005 the number of departing passengers on scheduled flights outside the European Union was 13.1% up on November 2004. This growth was driven by the launch of Etihad services to Toronto and Abu Dhabi. The number of passengers on intra-EU flights was 4.3% higher than pcp. Charter traffic decreased by 13.6% in November, mainly due to reductions in charters to typical winter holiday destinations that were hit by the tsunami and to the Red Sea resorts. Read more.

The new airplane will be used on Air China Cargo's routes between China and North America and Europe. Air China Cargo's new Boeing 747-400 Freighter is powered by Pratt & Whitney 4056 engines.
SEATTLE, Dec. -- The Boeing Company and Cathay Pacific Airways have signed a definitive agreement for the purchase of 12 Boeing 777-300ER (Extended Range) jetliners and purchase rights for 20 additional 777-300ERs.
Cathay Pacific announced its intention to order the 12 aircraft, valued at approximately US$2.85 billion at list prices, earlier this month in Hong Kong. Cathay Pacific plans to take delivery of the new 777-300ERs between September 2007 and July 2010. The 777-300ERs will be powered by the General Electric GE 90-115BL2 engine, the world's largest and most powerful commercial jet engine.
A New Ship Ordered For Costa Crociere
A sister ship to the Costa Concordia and Costa Serena, she will be built at Fincantieri's Genoa Sestri Ponente shipyard and she is expected to enter into service in summer 2009.
The new order is included in an agreement reached today by Carnival Corporation & plc and Fincantieri for the construction of 4 new cruise ships, along with options for 2 additional vessels. Read more.

A total of 48.054 tourists stayed in rural establishments on the Costa del Sol during the first ten months of 2005, against a figure of 14,278 registered during the same period last year, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics. Tijdelijk nieuwe directeur VisitDenmark Benelux
Per 1 februari 2006 zal de heer Søren Kjær Nielsen tijdelijk directeur zijn van het Benelux-kantoor van VisitDenmark (voorheen het Deens Verkeersbureau / de Deense Dienst voor Toerisme) in Leiden. Hij vervangt Mathilde Henriques-Nielsen, die per genoemde datum met zwangerschapsverlof gaat.

UFTAA Honorary President Ms Jacqueline de Rey was elected to the World Committee of Tourism Ethics (WCTE) at the recent UNWTO Annual General Assembly in Dakar (Senegal).
UFTAA and Ms. de Rey are among the initiators of the UNWTO "Taskforce to Protect Children from sexual exploitation in Tourism" and she is currently the Vice-Chairperson of the Taskforce. Ms. de Rey is well known and respected for her continuous efforts to establish a socially responsible travel and tourism which respects the cultures of tourism destinations and the social values of their people. Ms. de Rey is, within UFTAA, in charge of "Natural & Human Environment" issues.

Belgische charter opnieuw naar Phuket
Wemmel, 16 december 2005 - BEST tours, de Belgische marktleider voor reizen naar Thailand vliegt vanaf zondag 18 december opnieuw met een chartervlucht naar Phuket. Op zondag 18 april vertrekt er weer voor het eerst sinds 21 december 2005 een Belgische vlucht met passagiers naar Phuket.
