BCR and Wizz Air is to launch the new BCR Wizz Air credit card in Romania

BCR Wizz Air credit card, the first product of this kind on the Romanian low-fare airline market, offers significant discounts for Wizz Air services and tickets.

BCR Wizz Air credit card is issued under the MasterCard logo, in RON, with a RON 20,000 maximum limit and a grace period up to 53 days.

The card comes with the most attractive loyalty plan: 4% bonus when purchasing Wizz Air products and services on wizzair.com, and 2% for transactions conducted directly at merchant Point of Sale machines and over the internet. The points accumulated under the loyalty program and can be used for buying Wizz Air plane tickets and services.

Banca Comerciala Romana and Wizz Air, the largest low fare airline in Romania, announced today the launch of the new BCR Wizz Air credit card, which will be available at BCR branches and via the BCR call-center as of today. The BCR Wizz Air credit card offers significant advantages when purchasing services and tickets on wizzair.com: 0 RON booking fee for the first 12 months and a great loyalty plan for collecting points that can be used to buy plane tickets and services.

Starting from these premises, the BCR and Wizz Air partnership comes as a natural step”, stated Igor Zganjer, Card Director, BCR.

The first 2,000 customers of the BCR Wizz Air credit card will get 20,000 bonus points (RON 200) they can use to buy plane tickets and other services via the www.wizzair.com website.

“The BCR Wizz Air credit card makes the access to traveling easier by attractive discounts offered upon buying tickets. For instance: a customer with an average income of RON 2,000 who spends 30% per month on a BCR Wizz Air credit card shall collect enough points in one year to buy two round tickets for Rome”, concluded Igor Zganjer.

The BCR Wizz Air credit card also comes with shopping insurance for 100 days after the purchase, discounts at BCR partners, opportunity to sign up for the 3D Secure service for transactions conducted over the internet, text notifications and free monthly account statements.
