A press conference informed Belgian tour operators and specialised press about the new flights, last Thursday 25.02.2010 at the Bruxelles office of Apulian Region.
The speakers: Magda Terrevoli, Regional Minister of tourism; Mario Pertile for Aereoporti di Puglia; Lydia Thys, Enit Bruxelles and Janita Govinden, marketing manager Ryanair France- Belgique.
A description of tourist attractions of Puglia, held by Mrs Terrevoli, opened the conference, followed by a detailed presentation of the two new Ryanair routes to Bari and Brindisi from Bruxelles-Charleroi airport, shared between Mr Pertile and Ms Govinden.
Four flights per weeks to and from Bari and three per week to and from Brindisi represent an important goal for the Apulian airport system and a concrete opportunity to let everyone discover Puglia’s treasures.
The new routes started in January 2010 and are only a part of a wider plan aimed at connecting Puglia with several European destinations.
Bari airport has new routes to Bucharest, Frankfurt, Paris, Valencia and Tirana.
Brindisi airport to: Monaco, London, Eindhoven (timetable attached).
