New hotel in Ljubljana combining the traditional with the modern

By Freesun News at 5 February, 2010, 11:30 am

The Angel Hotel & Garden Resort occupies a large medieval house in the centre of Ljubljana’s medieval Old Town, where tradition is blended with modern trends. While enjoying excellent facilities and modern services, guests can enjoy a charming sense of what life must have been like for the house’s former inhabitants.

The Lesar Angel Hotel is a unique establishment in a prestigious location offering guests first-class services, a modern interior and a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. The hotel is divided into two parts: Modern Classic Style, with 6 superior ’suite rooms’, and Trend Style, with 6 ‘double superior’ and ‘classic’ rooms. All the rooms are individually designed, something which gives the hotel a unique stamp. The hotel’s architecture combines the building’s rich history with modern elements that will satisfy even the most demanding guests.

The hotel has its own 500 m2 private garden rising up the Castle Hill, immediately below Ljubljana Castle, from where it is possible to enjoy a wonderful view of a large part of Ljubljana and the surrounding countryside. The garden has an exit onto the ‘Cat’s Path’, one of the paths leading up to the Castle.

A number of important attractions and venues are located in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, among them Križanke, Prešeren Square, the Town Hall, the Triple Bridge, the Opera House, the City Art Museum and many other natural and cultural sights of interest.
